Fit woman measuring her waistline after training, showing progress in her weight loss journeyYou Are More Than Just a Number

Your progress isn’t defined by what your bathroom scale says. One pound a week may not sound like much compared to flashy marketing claims, but it actually represents a 500-calorie change every single day—that’s huge. And honestly, your success can’t be measured by pounds alone. I care about your energy, your strength, and your ability to live life fully.

Protecting Your Muscle and Your Metabolism

When weight loss happens too fast, it comes at the expense of muscle mass. That’s the last thing we want, because muscle is what keeps your metabolism strong. That’s why I focus on protein and building what we call your “metabolic currency.” Protecting your muscle means protecting your progress—and preventing the cycle of losing weight only to regain it later.

Food Isn’t the Enemy

You’ll never hear me say you can’t enjoy Sunday lasagna with your family or stuffing at Thanksgiving. Food has two roles: it fuels your body, and it fuels your fellowship with others. Both matter. I’ll encourage you to be mindful of how food fits into your goals, but I’ll never tell you to stop enjoying the parts of life that bring you joy.

You’ll Fit Right In

Our weight loss program isn’t built for one “type” of person—it’s built for real people, just like you. At P.O.W., we have patients as young as 18 and others well into their 80s. We work with people who are trying to meet BMI criteria for surgery, and with people who simply want to feel healthier and stronger in everyday life. Some of our patients want medication-assisted weight loss, while others prefer to do it without. Some weigh themselves every day, while others don’t step on the scale at all and measure success in other ways. No matter your age, your goals, or your approach, you’ll find a place here.

A Partnership, Not a Diet

This isn’t a diet program that tells you what you can’t do. It’s a partnership. I’m here to give you accountability, encouragement, and tools to make changes that stick. I don’t set your goals for you unless you want me to. Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your lifestyle—not one that makes you miserable.
